Tae Kwon Do is one of the most popular martial arts around the world. Originated at Korea this art is their own national art practice by North and South Koreans. Tae means “to strike or break with foot”, kwon means “to strike or break with fist” and do means “way/art” or “method”. This helps its practitioner to developed flexibility, endurance, focus, speed, balance and stamina. This art is one of my favorite, I’ve practice this art in my college years. I enjoy it even though sometimes it’s the pain you’ll get in sparring is really give you some bruises, muscle pain, and leg injuries. This art is good for kids; it helps them developed some self esteem and interact to fellow kids. For me art Tae Kwon Do is one of the best.

Brazilian art form that spread out around the world, starting to be one of the most famous art for exercise and martial arts. Capoeira a combination of Africa and Brazillian dance art. Brazil was its birth place, Capoeira was beleive to be created by slaves brought to Brazil who used it as a way to practice their martial arts moves while making it appear to be a game or dance. Capoeira was one of my favorite art especially the acrobat moves you can do if you’re a senior student. Watching Capoeira is very entertaining Ginga, Aú Aberto, Aú Fechado, and Aú Batido etc. This art is a nice way to get fit and have fun.

Starcraft 2 trilogy of the most awaited famous multiplayer strategy games will soon be release this first quarter of 2009. Starcraft is the most famous intense real-time strategy games ever hit the world of gamers. With three unique species; Terran, Protoss and Zerg each with unique units, technologies, abilities and attributes. Many people says starcraft is one of the best PC games ever existed, receiving an award for 1998 video games award. Starcraft 2 excites all strategy game users because of its new additional character to the game that will surely make the game more entertaining and fun.

Another exciting movie to watch is Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. The theme of the movie focuses on the beginning of the story where the leader of the barbaric lycans (werewolves) Lucian was a slave of the aristocratic vampire king known as Viktor. The start of war between the vampires and lycans is shown this movie. I had watched the two movies first Underworld and second Underworld: Evolution.

I love this movie especially the detailed transformation of the lycans (werewolves). Im surely gonna enjoy watching this third movie Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. It will definitely help its fans understand more. They will surely be entertained by this movie more.

Kayaking its not as simple as how it looks. At first I thought kayaking is extremely easy, the way I see others kayaking it make me think it’s very easy to ride it. But when it’s my time to try kayaking then I realized its hard, especially turning around you must always balance and stay put riding a kayak or else you would fall into the water. You must always keep your balance and straight while maneuvering a u-turn. After few rounds of kayaking I learned how to kayak easily, how to turn around and it able me to explore the much deeper part of the sea. Sea kayaking able me to explore the sea, its nice especially if the water is blue and clear, it able you to see what’s beneath the water! Sea kayak is made for the sport of paddling through open waters of lakes, ocean and bays. As we can all see kayak is usually used around the world for marine journeys especially in some marine documentary and tours. My kayaking adventure is definitely a water sports that I really love to try it again especially kayaking with friends I really going to enjoy it.

Wolverine is one of the most famous Marvel character that ever existed. In fact, it is the favorite one among marvel super heroes. Having a strong personality, Wolverine definitely captures the sentiment of readers, both young and old marvel fanatics. With the character of a bad boy image, it is the most aggressive and hot-tempered mutant in marvel comics. Wolverine really made his mark in the comics world.
After X-men 1, 2 and 3 the movies, a latest one is coming this May 1, 2009 entitled "X-Men Origins: Wolverine the movie". Marvel fanatics are certainly excited to watch this upcoming movie, where the story is centered on the character of James Howlett, who is more commonly known as Logan or Wolverine. The story of wolverine's life in this movie will show how Sabretooth became his mortal enemy, and how he had the "adamantium" metal implanted to his bone. Since the presence of adamantium negates the natural structural limits of his bones, he can lift or move heavily weight objects that would otherwise damage a human skeleton.


This is absolutely a must watch movie and even more since there are new mutant appearances that can be anticipated to showcase itself, like Gambit. I myself is extremely excited to see this movie. I cant wait to see it my self.

Ki is a simple two-letter word that has a deep meaning that will widen or expand your understanding about the way of life. Ki usually means “flow of energy” and often means “energy” in Western philosophy. This called “energy flow” has lots of alternate names in Asian countries like in Chinese it is called qi, in Japanese it is ki, in Vietnamese khi, and in Korean gi.

Ki exists in many beliefs especially in Asian countries. It plays a big role in lots of martial arts which exist in Asia, especially in Japan which is the birth place of the martial art of Aikido which was founded by Morihei Ueshiba. Aikido focuses on unifying with life energy or what they called “the Way of harmonious spirit”. Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on.

In Chinese traditional art of geomancy, the word feng shui is based to calculate the balance of qi, the connection between elements, and many others factors. The Chinese believe that knowing the energy flow will affect their health, business, luck and other aspects of life.

In my understanding everyone of us has our own ki. Whether it is positive or negative it is up to us to develop, understand, and learn how to use it wisely.
